Joni Stoll Design

There's a difference between staging a house and designing a home people actually want to stay in. ✨
Short-term rentals aren't just about looking good in photos — they're about how a space feels when you walk in tired from travel or a long day in Glacier National Park, and just want to exhale. Comfortable. Easy. Like an escape you didn't know you needed.
That's what I love about this work: designing spaces that feel like an oasis, not a stopover.
And it doesn't stop at design. I also work with STR owners as a consultant: which products guests actually love, what earns those 5-star reviews, and how to furnish smart so cleaning crews can turn a place over fast without sacrificing style.
Because a beautiful rental only works if it's livable — for guests and for the team keeping it running.

Furniture math nobody teaches you 📐 Save this before your next shopping trip — and if you’d rather skip the guesswork altogether, that’s what I’m here for.

For this project, we merged sleek dark siding and windows with the raw warmth of natural wood accents to bridge the gap between modern design and the forest landscape. The result: a beautiful cabin that complements the wilderness instead of competing with it.

Think of your lighting like your outfits—it is all about the layers. Most rooms need more than just a single overhead light to feel complete. True interior design relies on layering.
Different shapes.
Different materials.
Different moments.
When they're connected by a common style, your home feels intentional—not expected.

Same exact square footage, completely different use. By removing the sliding glass door and reworking the space we were able to transform an old game room into a beautiful kitchen! It’s proof that you don’t always need an extension to get more space—sometimes you just need to rethink the rooms you already have.

True luxury is in the details—and yes, that includes our four-legged family members. 🐾 We integrated this custom, built-in dog watering station for a seamless blend of functionality and style. Because good design should serve every member of the household.

To start, a new project exists only as pencil strokes on a page and a collection of finish swatches. Then, those drawings transform into custom craftsmanship and beautiful materials, and the space is ready for your family’s daily routines and lifelong memories. Watching a design step right off the paper and into the real world will never lose its magic for us ✨
