Grateful for a stronger faith.
Grateful for the growth that came from the things I never would have chosen for myself.

First week in my new home, and we’re getting settled. 🤍
I haven’t made an official announcement because sharing such a big personal life change with so many people feels a little strange. But I’ve shared so much of my homestead journey over the last two years, and now I’m beginning a new one after my divorce. I could not have gotten through this last year without my faith 🙏🏻.
This homestead may look a little different, but I’ll still be sharing sourdough, gardening, preserving, recipes, and creating a home I love. For now, I’m taking a break from raising animals, and that’s okay. I’m still in Montana! just a few miles from the Log Home.
Thank you for being here, for your encouragement, and for following along through every season. I’m excited for this fresh start.
And yes… a new handle is coming soon! No more Log Homestead.

I read today: we’re not waiting on God…He’s waiting on our obedience.
And I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
May everything we do be a reflection of Him.
In our homes.
In our relationships.
In the quiet everyday moments.
May our lives honor Him,
and may people see Him through us.
Making changes in my life each day to be a better reflection of Him.
I’ll hopefully get back to more of my teaching content soon.
Right now my family is walking through a pretty massive life shift, and I have a feeling this space may be shifting a little too.

2026 is for peace. Peace in my home, for myself, and for my children. đź’•
While 2025 was amazing in so many ways….my kids are flourishing, my family is healthy, I’ve been blessed with incredible friendships, my career has been better than ever & I’m deeply grateful for this space and community.
This year also held some extremely hard moments that shattered me and broke my trust. It’s been a hard one!
Going into the new year, I’m making the changes I need to create peace and healing, and trusting God through it all. I’ll be taking a little time off this app.
