Hand knit items have been added to our collection as of 2019. We are based in Montana. More Than Threads designs and sells awesome clothes! We believe that clothing was meant to communicate, and we hope that our clothes spread messages of truth, light, hope, love, and ridiculous joy in a world that is dark and confused. Hand knit items a made with love and are uniquely designed and cannot be found anywhere else! We are also busy developing awesome clothes for babies and children, which will be available in the future! In addition, we travel around the world and find incredible, unique treasures, such as jewelry, handbags and accessories that you cannot find anywhere else.
I’ve designed a thing. 🤪
Two things actually.
Two different motifs that I designed on graph paper and away I went. I’ve woven a piece long enough to maybe be sewn into a smallish tote.
But I don’t know how to make that a neat project because I’m not too confident on the sewing machine just yet. But we shall see!
When I finish the piece I’ll put it up for you to see, maybe you can give me an idea what the final piece should become. 😍
I think it’s turning out pretty good! I’m so excited! What will cloth become? I’m not sure, I was just experimenting but now I’m excited for it to become something!

Dyeing Day!
My good friends Tracey and Sarah, and I got together and had some fun yesterday with dyeing all that wool I showed you all!
I would say it was a huge success! I learned a lot and it so fun! Nothing really was precisely measured and we just played. It’s good for the soul.

Fluffy clean fiber! This is a follow up to wash day yesterday! Now we have white fluffy wool to work with for dyeing tomorrow!

I am washing fleece today! Once washed and dried, this weekend I plan to dye it.

I attended the Eureka fiber festival last week and bought some dye!

It is done!!
Hand woven shawl in pinks, whites and mauves!
