Mochi has left the building🥳

This sweet senior came to us a few months ago in a rough, fragile state. She was closely monitored for the first week of her stay and then bounced back as if nothing was ever wrong!

Now, Mochi is one lucky cat as she’ll be joining a loving Sunrise Alumni home! Thank you so much for choosing another Sunrise cat and being part of our community ❤️

🚨 SOS! Sunrise Needs Your Help! 🚨

We are officially down to the wire.

Right now we have:
🐱 Only 4 days of wet food
🍼 Just 1 bag of kitten food left
📦 No small bags of pellet litter for our foster families
🧶 And our shelter cats are desperately in need of cardboard scratchers to keep them happy and enriched while they wait for their forever homes.

Kitten season hasn't slowed down, but our shelves have.

If you've ever wanted to help but weren't sure how, this is one of the easiest and most impactful ways. Every item sent goes directly to the animals in our care and helps us redirect precious donation dollars toward lifesaving medical care.

Meet the Tootles!

Tootles l and Tootles ll are ready for a new forever home! These sweeties came from a rather large indoor-outdoor cat colony off of Heiland Rd in Aroma Park.

It took some time for them to adjust and destress, but boy, they sure did turn into the sweetest things!

If you’re interested in adopting, please go to our website at sunrisecenteranimalrescue.org and fill out an online application!

We hope these girls become our next adoption announcement post❤️

Good morning!

Fry is doing great! He is comfy on crate rest, enjoying his boops from Addie, and even moving his arm around a bit! We have some calls with specialists today. Once we have a estimate we have a fundraiser planned!

🐾 Available for Adoption – Meet Lexie! 🐾

Lexie joined us just two weeks after her brothers, Hoss and Little Joe.

Born on the county fairgrounds to a feral mom in Oklahoma, the litter was trapped and taken to animal control. With an overcrowded shelter and fearful puppies, all three found themselves on the euthanasia list simply because they didn't know how to trust people.

Today, Lexie is ready to write a completely different ending.

At just 5–6 months old and 34 lbs, Lexie is believed to be a Border Collie × Hound mix (DNA results from an adopted sibling are pending). She is fully vetted and ready to find her forever family.

Lexie is still a little shy with new people, but she is HIGHLY treat motivated, making training a breeze. She has discovered that walks are actually pretty fun, is about 85% potty trained, and is dog, cat, and kid friendly.

The biggest surprise? Once separated from her siblings, Lexie's personality began to shine. She's become a whole new dog— learning that belly rubs, melting into ear scratches, and learning people can be pretty wonderful.

All she needs now is someone willing to give her a little patience and watch her confidence bloom. ❤️

If you're looking for a sweet pup who just needs someone to believe in her, Lexie might be your perfect match.

Look at her ears!!! The left is always popped up 💜

🐾Everyone, you now have the opportunity to adopt this goof in the video🖤

At 3 years old, we think Cujo is an Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix with the perfect balance of adventure buddy and loyal companion.

He's the total package:
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Great on a leash
🐾 Kid friendly
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Cat friendly
🐾 Loves car rides
🐾 Loves walks
🐾 Fully vetted and ready for his forever home!

Cujo's only little quirk? He likes to take a minute to warm up to new people. But here's the funny part—hand someone his leash, and you're instantly on his good side! Having a "job" gives him confidence, and before long he's happily soaking up the attention.

If you're looking for a smart, affectionate dog who will be your sidekick through every adventure, Cujo is waiting to meet you.

📍 Cujo is available for adoption through Sunrise Center Animal Rescue.
