Community Economic Development Resource Center

The nonprofit organization provides publications, training, programs, and consulting services based on Community Economic Development (CED) principles and practices for Self-help, Empowerment, and Capacity-building. The CED Resource Center is founded upon several years of successful prototype personal and community empowerment resource centers in Illinois and Indiana. The Resource Center will provide training on visioning and strategic planning, management and marketing, entrepreneurship, micro-enterprise development, social enterprises and entrepreneurship, infopreneurship (information marketing, publishing, etc.), grant writing, crowdfunding including Rewards, Donation and especially Equity crowdfinancing), and educational programs on social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, and the advantages and benefits of the cause-oriented Benefit Corporation model.
