STEM1522 STEM Guitar II - Acoustic class Spring 2026 semester. Six great guitars.

There are six students building an acoustic guitar this semester at Kankakee Community College. Here are four examples of soundboxes taken shape. There also is a few necks that need fret yet.
In the Fall semester, there will be a section of STEM1512 STEM Guitar class. This is an electric guitar building class. Guitar playing is not required to take the class.
Kankakee Community College will be offering STEM1522 STEM Guitar II - Acoustic. If you have taken STEM1512 STEM Guitar (electric), you may enroll in the acoustic guitar building class on Thursday nights from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. All tools and supplies are provided. Please enroll with Student Services on campus.

This semester's Thursday night class of STEM Guitar at Kankakee Community College. These students design and build a guitar from a block of wood. They are excellent playable guitars. Job well done.
