The Ride

Today marks the anniversary of the very first Ride — and somehow, we’re already preparing for YEAR FIVE. 🤍🏍️

Looking back at this post and remembering where we started is honestly a little unreal. What began as an idea to give back has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined — bringing together riders, businesses, volunteers, friends, and an entire community that continues to show up year after year.

Last year alone, we were able to give over $20,000 back to Project Headspace and Timing, and that still blows my mind.

As we prepare to officially launch the 5th Annual The Ride in November, we’re looking for business sponsors, donations, volunteers, team members, and people who simply want to get involved. Whether you own a business, have something to donate, want to sponsor part of the event, or just want to lend a hand, there is a place for you.

This event has never been built by one person. It has grown because people continue to believe in it, support it, share it, ride with us, donate, volunteer, and show up.

From the very first Ride to preparing for Year 5 — I’m beyond grateful for every person who has helped make this what it is.

Year 5 is going to be BIG — and with how much this event has grown, we need a TEAM that is ready to take ownership, follow through, and GET 👏 THINGS 👏 DONE. This cannot fall on the same few people anymore.

If you couldn’t make the meeting but still want to help, LET ME KNOW ASAP. We’re assigning roles now and it’s time to get moving.

We are still looking for TEAM LEADS for:
• Sponsorship & Donations
• Registration & Merch
• Marketing & Social Media
• After Party & Entertainment
• Party Bus & Non-Rider Experience — working closely with Registration and Day-of Operations

We also need additional members for ALL teams, including:
• G-Raffle Tickets & Donations
• Route & Ride Operations
• Volunteer & Day-of Operations
• And every team listed above

And hear me on this one: you do NOT need experience to help make this great.

An ordinary person who is willing to try, learn, make mistakes, and keep moving will go further than a brilliant person who does nothing. We don’t need everyone to know exactly what they’re doing on day one — we need people who are willing to jump in, communicate, show up, and figure it out with us.

We have work to do. Year 5 isn’t going to build itself. Let’s make this one UNFORGETTABLE. 🖤🏍️🔥

We’re officially getting to work on the 5th Annual The Ride, and our next meeting will be:

If you’re interested in being part of the team this year, this is the meeting to be at. We’ll be starting to divide up responsibilities, build our teams, and get everything moving.

We need people who are committed, willing to help, and ready to make Year 5 our biggest one yet.

At The Ride, we firmly believe that when it comes to supporting our veterans, there is no competition—only collaboration.

Today we’d like to help spread the word about another organization making a difference. The Our Fallen Hero Foundation is hosting their annual motorcycle ride and car show on August 15, raising funds for the USO while honoring the memory of PFC Aaron Toppen, who gave his life serving our country in Afghanistan.
