Anne and Sam had a great time with Rotary Club of Manteno! Thank you for letting us present on the work we are doing to improve the system of care for children’s mental health. 🌞

We had wonderful guest speakers today from Project Sun 🌞 Proiect SUN is a Strong Unified Network that is dedicated to strengthening the children's behavioral health system of care in Kankakee County through a coordinated network of services and supports that address the needs of the whole child.

Project SUN Community Strategic Planning Survey 2026 Project SUN is building our strategic plan for the years ahead — and we want it shaped by the people who know this community best: YOU.

It's that time of year again! The PNC Parent Child Workshop is open for registration. The only qualifications are to live in Kankakee County and have a 3-5 year old child. The workshops are on 8 Thursday nights this fall and include a meal, childcare, early learning lessons, and materials to use with your child. Please see the flyer and sign up to attend!

Join us on Thursday evening for our NAMI Family Support group!

Our next Family Support Group will be September 10th at the Project SUN office from 6:00-8:00pm. This month we will be making a puzzle piece apple craft while connecting with NAMI facilitators. All are welcome! We hope to see you there.
