Happy 🎉 Birthday to the guy that made me an Aunt first. You have always been there (whether I wanted you there or not 🤣), talented, funny, a pain in the ass, and the guy that literally drops what he’s doing if someone needs help. ❤️

There isn’t much we haven’t been through together, and I’m so thankful for all the memories, the good times, the crazy times, and everything in between. Watching you grow from that little boy who wouldn’t shut up into the man (who also still loves to talk) you are today has been pretty damn special.

One of the things that makes me especially proud is watching you with Deegan. ❤️ Seeing you take the time to teach him welding for 4-H projects to working on the stock car, watching you work side by side and pass on something you were taught yourself, is something I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted.

I can still remember watching your dad teach you. And now, seeing you teach Deegan those same skills, I can’t help but think about how incredibly proud your dad would be of you. ❤️ I know he’d love seeing that the things he taught you didn’t stop with you—they’re being passed on to the next generation. That kind of legacy is pretty damn special.

You’ve always been the kind of person who will drop whatever you’re doing when someone needs you, and that says a lot about the kind of person you are. You may be a squirrel brained 🐿️ pain in the ass 🤣, but you have one of the biggest hearts and you would give the shirt off your back for the people you love.

And I can’t forget your love and support for our local race track. 🏁❤️ You’re always one of the first to show up(which is also so annoying 🤣), lend a hand, and support the track and the racing community. And when it comes to the kids, Baja Ben is always making sure they’re included and involved, giving them a chance to experience the racing world and feel like they’re part of something bigger. That’s just who you are—you don’t just love racing, you love the people and the community that make it special. ❤️🏁

I wish you nothing but happiness, success, good health, plenty of laughs, and of course… lots of good racing! 🏁🍻

Loving a Dirt Racer (The Real Version ❤️🏁)

If he tells you he missed your call because he was in the shop… he was in the shop. And if he says he’ll be “just another 30 minutes,” go ahead and add two hours.

If he’s on his phone while you’re together, don’t take it personal. He’s probably watching race highlights, checking MyRacePass, looking at lap times, or buying parts he definitely “needed.”

Don’t make plans on race weekends unless you’re planning on going to the racetrack. From spring until fall, racing comes first.

You’ll know the FedEx, UPS, and parts delivery drivers by name… and they’ll know your address by heart.

You’ll quickly learn that race car parts are never “too expensive”… but buying something for the house somehow requires a committee meeting.

He won’t tell you who someone is by their last name. It’ll be, “You know… the guy that drives the 33R,” or “the white 67.”

Everything becomes a competition. Go-karts, co****le, fishing, bowling… you’re racing whether you wanted to or not.

Before long you’ll stop being the wife or girlfriend and become the crew chief, tire holder, fuel girl, flashlight holder, transponder finder, helmet fan operator, snack runner, and professional “hold this.”

Date nights usually happen in lawn chairs beside the trailer with concession stand food, dirt on your shoes, and race fuel in the air.

You’ll learn words like stagger, wedge, bite, spoiler, and ride height… even if you never wanted to.

Your laundry will always have a little grease on it, and your car will somehow always have race tires, tools, or fuel jugs in the back.

He can remember where he finished in a race 10 years ago… but might need reminded what you wanted from Walmart.

His favorite outfit? A racing hoodie, old jeans, and a hat that’s seen about 1,000 laps.

You’ll celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays whenever the race schedule allows… and honestly, you won’t mind.

You’ll meet some of the best people you’ll ever know. The racing community becomes family, and those friendships last a lifetime.

There will be nights you celebrate in Victory Lane… and nights you load up a torn-up race car wondering what broke this time. Through both, you’ll be there together.

And here’s the truth…

Loving a dirt racer isn’t always easy. It’s late nights in the shop, long weekends at the track, broken parts, empty wallets, and a lot of sacrifices.

But it’s also laughter in the pits, friendships that become family, chasing dreams together, and making memories most people will never understand.

❤️ If you’re lucky enough to love a dirt racer, don’t just support the driver… support the dream. Because behind every race team is a family making it all possible.

Here’s to all the race wives, girlfriends, aunts, uncles, husbands, crew members, moms, dads, kids, and families… because racing is a team sport on and off the track. 🏁

Friday night was one of those nights that reminds you why we fell in love with dirt track racing in the first place.

Autograph Night is always special. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces, watching them run from car to car collecting hero cards and meeting their favorite drivers, and seeing families making memories together is what this sport is all about. One of my favorite parts is watching the kids in the pits. They don’t care what race team you’re with, what color your car is, or whose name is on the door. They’re just friends having the time of their lives, laughing, playing, and growing up together. If only more adults could see racing through their eyes. ❤️

And then there was Ben. 💙🧡

Watching him wheel that car against the Supers, knowing they’re packing roughly 400 more horsepower, was something special. Seeing him throw it up on the high side and let it eat brought back so many memories. For a few laps, it felt like old times. It reminded me exactly why I fell in love with watching him race all those years ago. You can’t measure heart with horsepower, and Friday night he showed that.

Nights like these are about so much more than where you finish. They’re about family, friendships, memories, and the passion that keeps us coming back week after week.

Saturday night at K3 Karting, it was a late one. The kids all did great and Deegan ended the night with a 3rd place finish. 💙🧡
