Join us on Saturday, October 10, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, for a plant and seed swap! This is an event for plant owners to gather and swap plants and seeds. This could include whole plants or bare-root cuttings/clippings as long as they are pest-free and you are willing to part with them. Come prepared to trade your plants with other plant lovers and go home with a new (to you) plant.

No monetary exchanges/transactions may be completed within the library; this is strictly trading only. No registration required. 🌱

Join us Monday, September 28, from 5:00 - 6:30 pm, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by decorating your very own Sugar Skull. Sugar skulls (Calaveras de azúcar) are a form of confectionery art created in many Latin American countries to celebrate Day of the Dead (Día de los Mu***os) on November 1. 🧡

Join us for Preschool Story Lab on September 14, from 10:15 to 11:00 am! This is a creative story time to encourage children to discover and explore concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). We'll start with a brief story time to introduce the topic, then children and their caregivers rotate through a variety of hands-on activities based on that topic. This month, we'll be talking about taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing!

This program is designed for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Tickets will be handed out starting at 9:45 am at the Youth Desk. Attendance is limited to 50 children.

Join us Thursday, September 24, from 2:30 - 4:00 pm, for our Fashion Photography program! In this workshop, you'll learn how to use smartphone cameras and inexpensive lighting equipment to make beautiful creative photographs. Everyone will have the chance to take photos and pose!
