Sunset Pools Texas

We love building pools. We also love coming back with new ideas for the people who trust us to build theirs. 💙

Adam, Adam Jr., and I are at PACE in San Diego, spending time with builders, speakers, and vendor partners from across the country. We’re already talking about what we want to share with our Sunset Pools team—from outdoor design and products to the experience we give our clients here in the Houston area.

I also had the opportunity to speak on a social media panel about why we share the real work behind Sunset Pools: the projects, the construction progress, and the people who make it happen.

And yes, meeting two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip and catching up briefly with Hayward CEO Kevin Holleran made for some fun photos! 🏁

Thank you to the Hayward and Paramount teams, speakers, vendor partners, and fellow builders for making PACE such a great few days. We’re excited to bring these conversations home.

Some of the best spaces at home don't need four walls. 💧

They're where you take your coffee in the morning, eat dinner when the weather is right, watch the kids swim, or settle in for an evening outside.

We design outdoor spaces around those everyday moments, because a beautiful space is even better when you actually live in it.

The pool may catch your eye first-But this is where you’ll want to stay.

A generous shade structure brings the whole outdoor space together: room to gather at the bar, settle in by the fireplace, or step out for a swim.

The strong roofline and warm ceiling make it feel like an extension of the home, with its own personality.

This is outdoor living designed for more than one kind of afternoon.

What’s your spot—the bar, the lounge, or poolside?

By the time the water goes in, most of the important work has already been done.

Thoughtful planning.

Engineered structure.

Precision plumbing.

Every detail beneath the surface.

Those aren't the things most people notice.

They're the reason exceptional pools begin with exceptional craftsmanship.

This one has a little bit of everything. 👏

Pool + spa, sun shelf, fire feature, waterslide, putting green and plenty of room to actually enjoy the backyard.

We just wrapped up this project and love how every part of the space works together — fun for the kids, great for entertaining and still clean and beautiful.

Which feature are you picking first — the slide, spa or putting green?

The details that matter most aren't always the ones that catch your eye first. ✨

They're the decisions behind the finished design. What materials make sense for the space. How the pool is engineered. How everything will handle years of use, weather, and Texas summers.

Trends come and go. Great design has staying power.

A timeless outdoor space starts with thoughtful proportions, materials that complement the architecture of the home, and details that feel intentional rather than trendy.

The goal is to create something that feels just as beautiful years from now as it does today.

Designed for today. Built to last.

One of the biggest misconceptions about great outdoor design?

That luxury comes from adding more.

It doesn't.

It's created through thoughtful decisions.

Where the spa belongs.

What you see from inside the home.

How people naturally move through the space.

When those details are right, everything else falls into place.
