After finding herself having allergic reactions to virtually every makeup line in the world, Founder Aimee Carr *A Celebrity Artist for over 20 years) found herself searching for the alternative blends of All Natural ingredients as her own personal makeup alternative. While living a lifestyle of Gluten, Corn and Soy Free products in her and her husband’s diets. She found herself grinding and blending products in a Shotgun home in New Orleans, LA. While on her usual bi-annual Fashion Week in NYC as Lead Makeup Director of several shows, the sponsor’s makeup failed to arrive on time, the girls mixed and blended in a room of the Crowne Plaza Times Square all night to make sure the show would still go on. Thus Voodoo Makeup was born, the Models, Artists *over 80 mua’s were under her command) loved the makeup! The runways photo and video teams raved on the flawless look and when the show was completed, the producer named Voodoo Makeup the Official Makeup of the show. Following the SS2012 debut of the products, Aimee has been invited and participated in NYFW & LAFW as the Official Makeup Sponsor & Beauty Director. Voodoo Makeup is produced by hand in the Heart of the French Quarter, New Orleans Louisiana.
