Forest Ridge Parent Teacher Club exists to encourage Forest Ridge Elementary School parents to participate in activities which enrich our children’s school life through:
1. Providing parental assistance and information about the programs of Forest Ridge Elementary School.
2. Sponsoring student activities and organizations in Forest Ridge Elementary School.
3. Raising funds to provide materials,
September is coming and that means that school events, field trips, and opportunities to volunteer in your child’s classroom are right around the corner. In order to volunteer, you must have an approved background check. Click on the link below and get yours turned in today! Have you done one in the last few years and aren’t sure if it’s still active? Call and chat with the lovely ladies in our school office. They would be happy to let you know if yours is still active, or if it’s time to do another one!

The 2026-2027 school year is almost here, and what better way than to kick off the school year than to welcome our incoming Kindergarteners with the JumpStart program! Need the details? Check out below!
WHAT: Kinder JumpStart
WHO: All incoming Kindergartners
WHEN: Tuesday, August 11- Friday, August 14
TIME: 7:45a-11:45a
WHERE: Forest Ridge Elementary
Free breakfast and free lunch will be provided, as well as all needed supplies. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle as it will be warm. Not yet registered for JumpStart or enrolled for Kindergarten? No problem! Please arrive tomorrow and office staff are happy to assist!

Free Summer Meals Available for Students Salem-Keizer Public Schools is offering free summer meals for children and youth in the community, thanks to grant funds provided by the Oregon Department of Education.

Last night was the Crystal Apple Awards for the Salem-Keizer School District. While our very own nominees did not take home an award, they have won our hearts for their dedication and passion for teaching. Congratulations again to our very own Lauren Keller (K/1st Grade), Melissa Mikesh (1st Grade), and Stacey Evans (5th Grade)!
We are so proud of you! 🍎
