🀄Kim and Michael Yerkey are the next artists in our 2026 Artist Spotlight series, introducing you to some of the incredible talent joining us in Downtown Tallahassee on April 18 & 19.

A lifetime of artistry and woodworking has led Kim and Michael to create art that doubles as a Mahjong game table and hangs for display when not in use. After only two years, Yerkey Creative Mahjong Tables already grace the entry lobbies of The Museum of Chinese in America in NYC and The Weitzman Museum of Jewish American History in Philadelphia. Their designs are hand-burned and beautifully embellished with metallic paints.

📍Visit Kim and Michael's booth during the Festival weekend to learn more about their process and inspiration! They will be within the Heritage Art Row, a dedicated shady section of the Festival featuring self-identified folk and heritage artists showcasing traditional techniques and fine craft along Tunnicliff Lane, leading to LeMoyne’s gallery and gardens. This category includes an Award of Merit and reflects the Festival’s commitment to honoring diverse art forms.
