The CIA is about building an army of Rank and File members to work shoulder to shoulder with the Organizing Department and all Field Representatives. We cannot afford to allow the non union General Contractor and End User to continue to undercut our wages and benefits at the expense of all Carpenters.
Standing together as one we will take back our industry and win this fight for respect. The key to stronger contracts and more work opportunities is to control our industry. Joining the CIA is a crucial step in this struggle. Like generations before us, if we stick together, work hard and follow the plan, we will be triumphant.

The day we understand this image is the day we realize that one worker alone can be overwhelmed—but together, we are unstoppable.

Every time a contractor exploits workers, pays under the table, or cuts corners to underbid responsible contractors, it hurts all of us. It lowers standards, steals opportunities from skilled tradespeople, and weakens the communities we build.

A banner campaign isn't about attacking anyone. It's about standing up for fairness. It's about shining a light on practices that hurt workers and educating our communities on why good jobs matter. When we stand together, our voice becomes impossible to ignore.

If you are willing to be of service for your union please call the local 206 office and leave your name and number. There will be opportunities to participate in Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue. (Compensation available)

Cada vez que un contratista explota a sus trabajadores, paga por debajo de la mesa o reduce costos de manera injusta para competir con contratistas responsables, todos salimos perjudicados.
