If your student has been admitted to Kent State for Spring, Summer or Fall 2027 and has a 3.7 GPA or higher, we've emailed them a personalized invitation to Honors Education.

The 2027-28 FAFSA is officially open! 🎉

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) now and get a jump start on maximizing your student's financial aid at Kent State, including grants, scholarships and Kent State funding only available to students with a FAFSA on file.

📣 The 27-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens for everyone Oct. 1, and you can get ready now by creating your FSA ID at studentaid.gov, if you don't already have one.

Your FSA ID is your legal identity and allows you and your student to complete the FAFSA.

From now through Labor Day, Sept. 7, most domestic, first-year students can apply to Kent State with no application fee required. Check your email for more information.
