Come see us this week. Saturday for Kent’s Oktoberfest we will have our food truck downtown and also the restaurant will be open.

Thanks to everyone who has reached out on here and stopped me around town for all your kind words and support. My crew has also told me so many stories of people being grateful and gracious to them this week. All of you are one reason we have kept this thing going as long as we have.

Everyone needs to understand that my employees didn’t make this decision to close, I did. And it wasn’t easy. Berating them because of something they have no control over isn’t cool. They are doing their best to keep us rolling though October. If you want to talk to me about it, feel free to reach out. Change happens in life. This is life.

As far as the gluten free options being offered by The Venice when I leave, that’s not my call, it’s theirs. We have had some discussions about it, but nothing has formed up yet. We know it’s important to a lot of people, but no decisions have yet been made.

I was trying to give everybody lots of warning that it was coming. I didn’t wanna be the guy that locked the doors and posted a notice. So, take this next couple of months, and visit us if you want to eat our food. Be nice to the crew. Please don’t take out your frustrations on them.
Remember, I have the food trailer and will still have a catering company. We will pop back up with it occasionally and we can do catering, some takeout and events. I’m trying to get through this closing and let the dust settle on it before I start that up.
