This weekend, we had the joy of sharing a culturally meaningful food with our community:
"African eggplant"
I can’t stop smiling when I think of the mothers’ faces lighting up when they saw it. What a privilege to bring a taste of home to our community!
A big thank-you to Jean, founder of Bahati Farm Organic. As an African immigrant mother, she has turned her passion for growing African foods into a way to serve the community.
By partnering with Bahati Farm, we support a small, immigrant-owned farm while helping provide culturally meaningful food to the community members and families we serve.
We are grateful for the partnership and for the joy we both brings to our community.
When our community comes together, we thrive. 💚

Access to basic hygiene and household supplies is essential to every family’s health, dignity, and stability. Items like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, and hygiene products may seem small, but when families are struggling to afford them, they can make a real difference, easing financial pressure and helping people feel cared for and supported.❤️

His mother is a dear friend and sister, as well as one of Ubumwe’s wonderful daughters, advocates, and champions.
It was great meeting you, Isaac! A special
thank-you to your mom for her valuable contributions to Ubumwe and our community. 💛
