🦅 KETCHIKAN! We’re coming home! We’re excited to bring Bridging Our Stories | Short Doc back to Ketchikan after being a part of the Filipino American Gala last year in October 2025.
🫶🏽 Maraming Salamat to the Ketchikan community for supporting this film and getting us to the finish line. It’s been a journey to share this Filipino-Alaskan story with audiences across the U.S. who didn’t know much about Filipinos in Alaska. After 9 screenings and 4 awards, we’re thrilled to have our first community screening where this story is based. 🇵🇭

KWC’s Tongass United for Youth task force is excited to be partnering with WISH to help collect and raise funds for back-to-school supplies and clothing.
Drop donations at Ketchikan Public Library or the Rec Center or scan the QR code to donate money!

Items will be handed out at the third annual WISH back to school picnic at City Park on Saturday August 22nd from 12:00-2:00.

Did you know August was Family Fun Month? With hikes, our beaches, and the parks there is lots to do outside in Ketchikan. However, as we all know the weather doesn't always cooperate. So, we listed some fun things to do indoors. Have a fun month!

The Ketchikan Community Gardeners were hard at work this weekend harvesting garlic and getting it ready to sell. All proceeds go right back into the community gardens. Be on the lookout for the annual garlic sale once these beauties cure!
