Join us next Sunday for Sensory Sunday! On this day we open the museum two hours early at 10:00 am and offer a less stimulating experience.

During these special hours, we have sensory tools available in our Do Lab and Science Theater, have adapted experiments, adjusted lighting and sound and have trained volunteers and additional staff available. Sensory Sundays are sponsored by Dayton Children's Hospital, Brighter Tomorrow Foundation, and the Ohio Pain Clinic.

Don't forget to ask about our sensory bags available at the front desk for free! Also, our new universal changing station is open which features an attached sensory room, offering a calming space for those who need it.

We are SO excited to announce that we’ve joined together with Adina ABA for a Halloween extravaganza! Here’s what to expect at this community event!

FOOD TRUCKS🍕🍋: Whole or by-the-slice pizza and customized lemonade and boba, brought to you by Wheel Fresh Pizza and (changed 10/4) Lolly Soda Shop!

TRICK OR TREATING🍬: Since the event is taking place away from their usual clinic, Adina’s staff will be set up with trunk or treat fun in the parking lot, so their clients see familiar faces first thing! Inside, Achieve staff will be using the classrooms for a trick or treat experience! Participants from both clinics are, of course, allowed to take part with all activities!

GAMES🎯: Outside, there’ll be games for you to try your hand at! Ghost bowling, pumpkin darts, witch hat ring toss, come ready for fun!

BAKE SALE🥨🍿: Students in our vocational pod will be creating some fun Halloween treats, and some of our staff will have their favorite bakes for sale too! All funds raised will go towards our playground.

We cannot wait to see everyone’s costumes and have a spook-tacular time!!! Please share the word with your friends and get ready for some F-U-N! 👻🎃

We’ve been approved for another fundraiser!! This time, we ask you to enjoy a meal at Bibbibop 🍛

Unfortunately, no online ordering code for this fundraiser, but you can dine anytime on Thursday the 24th! Simply bring a flyer from the clinic, show them this post or mention the fundraiser at the register.

THANK YOU! We had tremendous success with our Chipotle fundraiser, have applied for a grant (we will know more late October) and are putting on a bake sale during trunk or treat so we can continue inching towards our goal.

We had someone ask if they could just donate to the cause, as sometimes eating out on weeknights isn’t feasible with family activities. We are working on a company Venmo, so the option to donate directly will be available soon.
