God, give us a new intimacy with You. If we have not told You lately how much we love You, forgive us. If we have been so busy running here and there and taking care of the daily cares and concerns of the world, that we have not taken the time to be with You as we should, O God please forgive.us. If we have been so busy seeking Your hand for what we need and want we have neglected to seek Your face so that we can know You more intimately, forgive us Amen

O God, we praise You for the strengthening power of the Lord Jesus (Philippians 4:11-13). Today strengthen our prayer life and strengthen our praise. Strengthen our feet to walk right, strengthen our hands to do right, strengthen our minds to think right, and strengthen our spirits to desire the right thing. Help us to remember that no matter what we face at any given moment of our lives or in any given circumstances we can do all things through You! Amen

Jesus, the man at the Pool of Bethesda was lame and lonely for 38 years until You gave him the command to be healed and rise (John 5: 1-9). We are grateful today that we can rise. No matter how long we have been down, we can still rise. No matter how far we have fallen, we can still rise. No matter how much we have messed up or how many times we have failed in the past, we can still rise. No matter how many mistakes we have made, we can still rise. Amen

Lord Jesus, we praise You today for the possibility of healing. We are grateful that You see more for us than we see for ourselves. We are thankful that You believe in us when we do not believe in ourselves. We adore You for having a word of direction and instruction that leads to healing. We are grateful You bestow grace and gifts upon us that lead to healing and wholeness. Thank You, Lord. Amen

God, we pray today that we will never forget Your grace. We won't forget because when sin pushed us down, Your grace picked us up. When sin made us unclean, Your grace washed us clean. When sin deceived us, Your grace revealed to us the Truth. When sin separated us from You, Your grace drew us near to You. When sin condemned us, Your grace justified us. When sin tried to destroy us, Your grace loved us and saved us. We will never forget Your grace! Amen

God, we are grateful today that grace is not about finishing last or first; it is about not counting at all (Matthew 20:1-15). When the landowner gave the same reward to those who worked one hour as those who toiled all day in the heat of the day, You remind us that Your grace cannot be calculated like a day's wages. We praise You for Your grace because nobody gets more of Your love than anyone else, everyone of us gets it all! Hallelujah! Amen

O God, how amazingly extravagant is Your grace and mercy! When we think about the way that it encompasses everyone, welcomes everyone, forgives everyone, and loves everyone, we offer our praise and adoration this day. When we think about the greatness of Your love revealed in Jesus Christ our Lord, the gift of the Holy Spirit and the sufficiency of Your grace, we are reminded again that You are a loving, gracious, extravagant God. Amazing Grace! Amen
