Dealing with the aftermath Red Feather Ranch Sanctuary…

Yay! I’ve trapped one of at least 2 and maybe 4 kittens near a construction area ! We will see how many get.

Food for the soul ❤️

Matilda… pure love ❤️
Matilda is a recent rescue, she has some issues which are being dealt with, and obviously she’s on a diet, but doing well and is the sweetest girl ever!

Apollo, a little bantam rooster, has burrowing mites - they burrow under the skin of the feet which become covered in crusty raised scales - treatment is to soak their feet and Epsom salt water, and I slather with something to suffocate the mites - i covered them with coconut oil and Nustock over that - they’re very contagious so he’s in the chicken infirmary coop. I will be cleaning out and spraying the entire coop and looking for anybody else affected…Oy vey…
