A touch of fall in every bloom🍂

The biggest flower vase secret? It starts before the flowers even go into the vase. 🌷

Before a single stem goes in, we check every flower individually — removing damaged petals and leaves, cleaning the stem, trimming it at an angle, and making sure nothing sits below the water line.

Then comes the biggest secret: your first few stems create the shape of your final arrangement.

Before you start designing, have an idea of what you want the finished vase to look like. Round? Asymmetrical? Fan-shaped? Organic and airy? Modern and sculptural?

Your greens, base, and first few stems should already create that silhouette.

If you want an asymmetrical arrangement, start asymmetrical. If you want it round, create a round base. If you want something tall and sculptural, establish that height and movement from the beginning.

A common mistake is adding stem after stem and hoping a shape eventually appears. But your shape shouldn’t suddenly change halfway through the process — everything you add should build on the framework you established at the beginning.

Think of those first few stems as your blueprint. Then clean, clip, place, turn the vase, check your shape, and repeat. ✂️🌿
