Our hearts are with the Sanger ISD community following their tragic loss last week. We are keeping their students, staff, families, and community in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We encourage our Bobcat Family to wear purple on Monday, Sept. 28 as a show of support and solidarity with our neighbors in Sanger.

🚧 Krum High School Parking & Traffic Changes Begin MONDAY, September 28

Beginning Monday, September 28, the front parking lot at Krum High School will close and be fenced off as construction begins. The new traffic and parking procedures will remain in place throughout the construction project.

🏫 KHS Front Office will relocate to the 200 hallway entrance beginning September 28.

Students who drive to school will park in the new parking lot located behind the staff parking area. Students should walk along the sidewalk and use the designated crosswalk to enter the building through the 300 Hall exterior door. Beginning at 7:55 am, student drivers should enter the building through the 200 Hall exterior door.

🚗 Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up�• All regular drop-off and pick-up will move to the back/north side of the high school.�• Enter campus from Victory Way and follow the new traffic flow shown in the attached map.

🕐 Midday Student Pick-Up�For student pick-up between 8:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., park in the visitor spaces near the 200 hallway entrance and enter through the front office.

🏟️ Events�• Gym events: Park in the new lot on Bobcat Blvd. and use the sidewalk/crosswalk to Gym Door #5.�• Football games: Home-side parking will be available in the new Bobcat Blvd. lot. Follow the sidewalk and crosswalk to the Fieldhouse and stadium entrance.

Today, Krum ISD recognizes American Indian Heritage Day by honoring the historic, cultural, and social contributions American Indian communities and leaders have made to Texas.

We recognize the rich heritage, traditions, and lasting impact of American Indian peoples throughout our state and celebrate the many ways their contributions continue to shape Texas communities today.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Hydration Challenge supporting Krum Fire Department a HUGE success! Over 10,000 hydration units collected across our three elementary schools is an incredible accomplishment and a great example of what Bobcat Nation can do when our community comes together! Congratulations to our champion Dixie Hansel Elementary School! It's a Great Day to be a Bobcat!

🎉 Yesterday was a truly special day as Krum ISD officially dedicated and opened our new Career & Technology Center, named in honor of longtime educator and community leader Danny Schertz.

Adding even more meaning to the celebration, City of Krum Mayor, Rhonda Harrison, proclaimed September 20 as Danny Schertz Day in Krum—a fitting tribute to a man whose years of service to our community and dedication to agricultural education have left a lasting legacy.
