Orlando’s Q60 got the EcuTek Technologies treatment today. 93 octane, stock fuel system, stock engine, stock transmission and some Chinese wu-tang-war-whistles. Let’s see how well this holds up at the current power levels.

Jon Leu sent me a new revision of the BNR32 specific lower ducting. This involved me cutting a huge hole on the pretty carbon & honing my duct tape skills to get some dyno data and street data. Jon was really cooking on this one!

Jon Leu sent me a new revision of BNR32 specific ducting for the carbon airbox. In order to get the most accurate data possible I upgraded the factory RB26 mass air flow sensors for the Nissan R35 sensors. These sensors will give us the needed resolution to get better data. First we will get new street data before we get back on the dyno.

I few years ago I tuned my buddy Edgar’s 690whp Evo IX and was mid blown at just how good the clutch felt. I was excited for Advanced Clutch to release something like this for the RB26 platform. So I’ll be installing one in the shop street car to show case how good they are. The model i got for the shop car is their lightest pressure plate & full face disks for street manners. A little bit more holding capacity than the Nismo Twin Coppermix but slightly less than the competition model.

This clutch is rated for 625ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel or 925hp at 8000rpm. There are 3 other clutches with higher holding capacity up to 910tq from a twin disk, SFI approved & fully rebuildable here in the USA.

The boys over at U.P. Garage sent me a care package for the street car. Going to do some testing on their alternator kit & their IACV. Ive had a few different alternator setups on my own cars through the years first and only kit i know of that uses an auto tensioner so this should be good! Also a brand new IACV with fast response time can’t wait to play with it.
