Dental health is more than a clean smile — it’s an important part of your pet’s whole-body wellness. 🐾

As we wrap up Falling for Fresh Smiles Dental Month here at Deep Roots, we wanted to dive a bit deeper into what a dental looks like for your pet!

During a professional veterinary dental cleaning, our team looks beneath the surface to assess what pet parents can’t always see at home: tartar buildup, gum health, dental X-rays, and signs of painful oral disease.

For many dogs and cats, plaque and tartar can build up quickly, especially on the back teeth. That’s why routine pet dental care helps us catch concerns early, polish the teeth thoroughly, and support long-term comfort, health, and quality of life.

At Deep Roots Animal Clinic, we approach every dental procedure with gentle handling, careful monitoring, and a deeper look at what your pet’s mouth may be trying to tell us.

Because healthy roots matter. 🤍

Is your pet due for a dental exam? Schedule an appointment with Deep Roots Animal Clinic today and give your pet the healthy, comfortable smile they deserve!
