Negley PTA — Navigating our children’s future! Negley Elementary PTA
Get ready to Walk & Roll!
Enjoy this very professionally made video explaining the timeline of events on Wednesday morning. We look forward to celebrating road safety with you!
⭐️ We are still looking for a few people to help lead our walkers. No need to show up early and sign in anywhere, just be at the starting point of your walk by about 6:55am with a flashlight! We'd love to have someone up front, someone towards the middle of the pack, and someone bringing up the rear to make sure the walk proceeds safely.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let us know which path you'll be on and we'll let you know how we'll use you!

✉️ You’re invited! ✉️
The PTA, in partnership with Cuemath, is excited to invite you to our Family Math Night on October 14! Join us for a free, hands-on event where your child will take on four challenge tables, one for each of the four ways of being good at math. Enjoy an evening where these math principles transform into fun games with take-home creations at each table.
Once Navigators have finished all four challenges, they'll discover where their math strengths lie. There are no scores or ranks, just a night of fun!
This event is free, but space is limited and you must be registered to attend. There are take home bags for each registered student!

A message from our Negley House Committee:
Hey Hey Negley Families,
October is officially here and you know what that means…SOCK-tober! Starting October 5th our school will be having our annual fall sock drive called SOCK-tober. Kids can bring in one or more packages of new socks to donate to our local Hays Clothes Closet. At Negley we are 4 houses, 1 family and together we are joining forces to help local families have the items they need to keep those toes warm for the Winter. Students can bring in their sock donations and place them in their house bins as a way of contributing for their house.
If you would like to learn more about our local Hays Clothes Closet and how you can help, check out these resources.

We Thank you for partnering with us in making a difference in our own backyard. As a Navigator we lead the way together! 4 houses, 1, family!

Grab your sneakers and helmets and get ready to walk, bike, scooter, wheel your way to school!
On October 7, Negley will take part in national Walk & Roll to School Day.
This year we will have two routes: one starting at the corner of Fairway and McNaughton, and another starting at the corner of Hartson and McNaughton.
We will start our walk promptly at 7am, make our way safely down the street, ending at the flagpoles out front, being sure to give BIG THANK YOU’S to our amazing crossing guards, Ms. Karen and Mr. Raymond on our way.
Once at the flagpoles, we will have snacks, goodies, and some important safety info (everyone loves a practical handout).
Then we’ll be sure to get everyone in the doors by 7:25am so no one is tardy!
We need a few helpers that morning leading our groups and making sure crossings are safe. If you are available to walk with us (student helpers welcome to join an adult!), please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F4FACAD2DA57-64985033-walk #/

Today, September 26, is National PTA Appreciation Day!
We would like to take a moment to thank ALL OF YOU! Without our board, our members, our community partners, our volunteers, our supporters, our entire AMAZING community who shows up for us every day, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
