Playing your favorite songs from decades of pop/rock! Message us above for more info. It was real and it was fun and most of us thought it was real fun.
A few years ago after relatively successfully getting our kids through their teen years and off to college, a group of Lafayette dads sat around asking themselves, what’s next? We took stock: a couple of us had been in bands in high school and college, all of us love the outdoors, most of us went to Cal and all of us are married to beautiful wives who mostly like what we like and tolerate us, on good days. So in the fall of 2019, we drank a bunch of home brew and jammed on a gaggle of instruments. Random Nature was born with our first gig at a private party in January 2020. Our next two gigs were scheduled for April 2020 but then COVID got in the way and, with the rest of the world, we took 15 months off. Then the gigs started happening in the summer and fall of 2021 and we’ve been busy ever since. If you like to sing and dance to the pop/rock songs you grew up with in the 60’s, 70’s and beyond, we’re the band for you! Contact us for your next party, fundraiser, or corporate event and let Random Nature rock you!

We couldn't get the whole .band together for a recent concert in Rossmoor's beautiful Event Center, but 3 of us could, and rocked the residents with hits from the 1950's. Several hundred people enjoyed songs from the formative years of rock'n'roll with hits from Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Fats Domino, Bill Haley, Bo Diddley, and of course, The King himself. Have a listen!
