Unitech Training Academy

We’re proud to see a Unitech Training Academy - Alexandria Campus Massage Therapy graduate joining the campus’s 2026 Advisory Board and bringing her firsthand experience and perspective to the table!
Advisory boards provide an important opportunity to listen, learn, and continue strengthening the connection between our programs, our students, and the workforce they’re preparing to enter.

We’re grateful for grads who are willing to step forward, share their perspective, and help shape the experience for those who come next. Congratulations, Alana! Thank you for investing in the future of Unitech! 👏

Celebrating not one, but 2️⃣ of our departments this week!

This week held IT Professionals' Day - help us give a shoutout to our IT Department, David - Director of Information Technology, Daniel - Information Technology Specialist, and Dillon - Network Systems Coordinator! 💻🖱️ They're the ones who make sure we stay connected, keep our software up to date, and answer all of our support tickets!

We're also recognizing our Director of HR, Cassie, ahead of HR Professionals' Day! 👥💭From welcoming and onboarding new team members to answering the questions that start with, "Hey Cassie, quick question..." she helps keep Unitech's people supported and moving forward!

Thank you to all four for everything you do to keep Unitech going!

We’re excited to welcome Collise Dupont as our new Vice President of Student Services!

Collise will lead the Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Development, and Registration departments - and for him, this new role is also a return to where his higher education career began.

Collise first joined Unitech Training Academy in 2013 and returns with more than 13 years of experience across career education and public higher education. Most recently, he served as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Services at Central Louisiana Technical Community College.

Throughout his career, Collise has focused on improving the student experience, strengthening enrollment and retention, and helping students successfully navigate their path from education to career.

We’re excited to have him back at Unitech and look forward to all he’ll bring to our students, teams, and campuses. Join us in welcoming Collise back to UTA!

Grateful for the many hands that shape our world, and proud to train the hands that shape what comes next!

Happy Labor Day from Unitech Training Academy!

Several of our Unitech leaders spent the morning at One Acadiana’s ConnectEd Update, learning more about the work underway to connect education and industry across Acadiana.

Making those connections is an important part of preparing people for careers and building the workforce our communities need.

We appreciated the chance to hear from business, education and community leaders and to be part of the conversation about Acadiana’s talent pipeline.

Congratulations as well to the Iberia Parish School District on receiving the 2026 1A ConnectEd Award, and thank you to One Acadiana for bringing everyone together this morning.
