Had a couple nights off between gigs and voiceover sessions, so naturally we built a thing.

Thockwave makes your keyboard play a sound on every keystroke — a real typewriter (Enter does the whole carriage return, bell and all), a set of tuned congas, or gunfire. It's free, it's tiny, and it runs quietly in your system tray.

Windows only, and heads up: because of what it does, Windows may throw an "unknown publisher" warning the first time. Click More info → Run anyway.
We've included the full source code in the download for anyone who wants to check under the hood.

Not a business thing, just a fun one. Enjoy it if you're a typist, courtesy of DJ Slick Productions.

Thockwave 107 KB. No Electron, no runtime, no account, no telemetry, no network code of any kind. It sits in your tray and it makes noise.

A member of the DJ slick Productions family is in desperate need of help. My good friend, brother-in-law, caregiver to my mother.. DJ Grumpy... Never asks for help, never seeks support, but he and his family really need it right now. Please check the link, and if you can, please help.

A big heartfelt thank you to Juan and Yolanda for inviting DJ Slick Productions to be a part of your big wedding day! It was a privilege to handle your music and sound needs for a beautiful ceremony and kick ass reception!

We are taking Friday off from the Lakeshore Lodge in order to make room for the lineup of amazing events and live music for the Lakeside vintage faire. We will see you all back next week!
