We are excited to announce that Hydroplane is a winner of the U.S. Army Competition.

Last week at United States Marine Corps Base , we demonstrated our wearable hydrogen fuel cell power unit for humanoid robots in a live outdoor mission environment. Our system is designed to provide quiet, emission-free mobile power for robotic platforms where acoustic and thermal signatures, endurance, and mobility matter. Hydroplane was selected as a winner in the Advanced Humanoid Subsystems category following the live demonstrations by the competition finalists - receiving a cash prize and the opportunity to pursue follow-on Army funding.

We are in Washington, DC this week and had some time to visit the monuments and reflect.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor all those who answer the call to serve.

We are grateful to work for those who serve our country and to contribute to the missions they carry out.

Today is a day to remember, reflect, and be grateful.

Wrapping up an action-packed summer in the desert with an incredible group of interns, from Universities across the country, who have been hands-on throughout the development, testing, and integration.

Over the past few months, they’ve tackled real engineering challenges, built hardware, solved problems, and gained firsthand experience.

Now we head out to compete in the Army Fuze xTech Humanoid Competition as a subsystem finalist. We’re proud of what the team has accomplished and excited to put our technology to the test.

At Hydroplane, we believe in giving the next generation of engineers the opportunity to work on hard problems and build the future they imagine.

The community has always been where the future of aviation begins.

At Hydroplane, we are following that same origin story - bringing propulsion to existing aircraft and rotorcraft through practical and scalable solutions.

This past week at EAA AirVenture and Vertical Flight Society , we saw a community ready to embrace hydrogen electrification. This is our community, our inspiration, and our vision.

This week we had two panels, one workshop, two presentations, and countless conversations about what comes next with

Hydroplane is honored to have received the 2026 International Association for Hydrogen Energy Konstantin Tsiolkovsky Award for Leadership in the Aerospace Area. This international award recognizes organizations and individuals advancing hydrogen as an aerospace propulsion fuel and energy carrier for aircraft and space applications. Named after the pioneering astronautics visionary Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, it celebrates those shaping the future of hydrogen-powered flight. The award was presented in June at the IAHE Annual conference.

We are humbled to join an exceptional group of previous recipients, including NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Airbus, Iwatani Corporation, and Aerovironment Inc to name a few. This recognition reflects the dedication of the Hydroplane team and our mission to make practical hydrogen-electric propulsion a reality for the next generation of aviation. We thank the International Association for Hydrogen Energy for this honor and look forward to continuing to advance hydrogen technologies that make aviation cleaner, quieter, and more capable.
