Meet Winston:
This sweet senior cockapoo has been dealt a bad hand. Four years ago he was given up by his family and needed a new home. We found him the perfect home where he has been loved, spoiled and exceptionally well cared for.... now our hearts are breaking for him and his family that have struggled for months which led to the decision to find him a new home once again. Sadly, his human dad passed away and his mom has some serious health issues. Winston is 9 yrs old, loves his toys, loves to snuggle, and enjoys going for walks. He would be happiest in a home that is calm and with people who are home the majority of the time. Winston does not like to be alone and most likely will be confused and sad when he leaves his home and his mom. We are looking for a patient and understanding person or family that will give him the time he needs to adjust if that is what he needs. We are recommending a home without other dogs or small children. Please message us for more info.

He is not in our rescue.
Meet Zeus!
We are helping to find this very good boy the perfect home.
He is in need of a forever home through no fault of his own.
Due to life circumstances his owner is no longer able to provide what he needs but has loved and cared for him and provided everything and more that Zeus has needed. His commitment to him continues as he is loved beyond measure and he will be remaining in his care until the right home is found.
If you are interested in Zeus, please send us a message and we are happy to answer any and all questions. please read bio provided by his owner below.
Zeus is a 62-lb chocolate-and-white mix (lab and pit mix) who was pulled from a kill shelter in Tennessee a few years ago.. He is neutered, house-trained, healthy, and one of the most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. He leans into people. He flips on his back for belly rubs from total strangers in the middle of Home Depot. He rides sh***un on long drives and looks over at you like he's keeping you company on purpose. People stop me on walks to compliment how beautiful he looks.
He's also a serious athlete. He walks 3-6 miles a day and would make a dream running partner. He needs a home with space, a yard or land, and a person or people who are actually around. Not an apartment, not eight hours alone. He is great with humans, great with dogs he knows, and trickier with strange dogs on leash.
The right home for Zeus has space and a body in it. A yard is close to non-negotiable; a farm or rural property would be even better. Someone who works from home, is retired and active, or otherwise has a daily rhythm that includes him. He has lived with one person and adapted, but he's a sensitive dog who doesn't do well being left alone for long stretches. Eight hours in an empty house every day would break something in him. A household with more than one adult around would suit him well.
A runner, a hiker, a farmer, someone who'd take him on errands and road trips: that's his person.
Please contact our rescue for more information. We want to ensure that his next home is forever!

It never ends there’s always someone who needs help that other people overlook or are indifferent to. Fortunately, for this beautiful Muscovy baby someone was there who did care enough. A huge thank you to everyone who came together to help save this little duck. ❤️

The good news is that after a thorough veterinary examination and treatment, she has an excellent prognosis. While she’s currently favoring her injured leg, her veterinarian expects her to recover fully with time and proper care. Thank you to our friends at Owl Bridge Acres Farm Sanctuary for partnering with us. 🦆💕💚

Update:
We are so disappointed to post this as we thought it would be the happiest pupdate in some time.
Bear’s adoption fell through and he will remain in boarding for the time being. 💔
It is heartbreaking to have a young energetic wonderful dog like Bear without a family but we are not failing him again. He needs a special home with committed people.
He is going to be the most amazing companion for the right family.
Message us for more details. He is not a “starter” dog. No small children or cats.
Please share him. He really deserves a family to call his own. 🐾💙🙏🏻

Meet Zeke!
Available for adoption in central PA. He is a 5-year-old, 13lbs Yorkie Bichon mix. Zeke is the happiest little guy, wanting nothing more than attention, a soft bed and his ball. When he wants you to throw his ball, he will bring it up to you, drop it at your feet, and nudge it towards you with his nose. Zeke is a sweetheart.
Zeke has a moderate to high energy level, so he will need exercise and enrichment every day, multiple times a day. He would do great as an only pup, or with another small friendly dog.
Please message us for an application or more information.

Meet Bear– A Stunning Malamute/Chow Mix with So Much to Offer
Bear has spent the past year in rescue growing into the incredible dog he is today. He’s not only beautiful—he’s smart, capable, and truly thrives when he has structure and guidance.
After coming from a difficult start, he’s put in the work and completed professional training. He has great manners and does best with clear expectations and consistency.
Bear would love:
• A confident owner who can provide leadership
• A home with structure and routine
• Regular exercise and mental stimulation
In return, he offers a loyal, steady presence and a meaningful bond with his person. He’s the kind of dog who will truly shine in the right home.
