Love STEM? Great, this is your chance to explore it in a fun, hands-on way! Open to students in grades 3–5, this interactive experience brings STEM, hair, and wellness together for an exciting learning opportunity.

Cleaning out your closets as the seasons change? Your donations to Community Aid can help School District of Lancaster students and families access clothing and other necessities through our Families in Transition (FIT) program.

When dropping off donations at a Community Aid donation center, ask staff to credit FIT’s membership number, 60003. Donations credited to FIT earn points that can be redeemed for Community Aid gift cards, allowing families to shop for items they need.

You can also help families access food by purchasing individual food vouchers or voucher booklets through Blessings of Hope and donating them to FIT.

WELCOME BACK, BIBLE2SCHOOL!

We’re excited to welcome Bible2School back to The Mix for another year!

Our relationship with Bible2School has been part of The Mix’s story for many years, rooted in a shared commitment to serving youth with care, purpose, and integrity. As a public school ministry, Bible2School equips communities to provide free Bible classes to elementary school students during their public school day, teaching truth and inspiring hope.

At The Mix, one of our core values is to Honor and Reflect Jesus, and we’re grateful for partners who help us continue creating spaces where our youth can learn, grow, ask questions, and be encouraged.

We’re looking forward to another meaningful year together. Welcome back, Bible2School!

Faithful Give 2026 — October 18-20

25 years later, we remember:
Today, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families and loved ones forever impacted, and the first responders and countless individuals who responded with courage, service, and compassion.

For many of our youth, September 11 is history, a day that happened before they were born. That makes it all the more important that we continue to tell the story, honor those who came before them, and carry forward the lessons of resilience, compassion, and unity.

Today we remember. May we never forget.

More Than a Meal:
What’s for Dinner is one of The Mix’s longest-standing programs, providing our youth with nutritious snacks and dinner throughout the school year.

But a meal can mean more than food. It can mean consistency after a long school day. A chance to recharge. Time to connect. And one less thing for a young person to worry about while they learn, grow and take part in everything happening at The Mix.

That’s the heart of What’s for Dinner. Help us keep the table full.
