This lovely is just gorgeous in person, and was delivered to its forever home near St Albert , ON yesterday!
48x72” hand-painted, sand-blasted Western red cedar with added uv-resistant sintra layered lettering and a hand-painted pictorial of the Desrosiers work buildings.
The photos show the sign, dry-fit onto 14ft custom-made 6x6” posts in our shop, with 2x4 and 2x6 cross members - ALL pieces sanded, filled, resanded, primed and painted to match the sign! Paul Desrosiers needed something to help drivers find the right driveway at his farm, so a simple aluminum/sintra rider sign address marker now points the way!
(The 14ft posts will be trimmed at the bottom ends - depending on what rocky surprises they end up finding when they bore their post holes - and will ultimately wind up sticking out of the ground 9ft)

This 8ft lovely will be picked up and installed next week by our new friends at Valley Garden in Cornwall, ON. You never know what sandblasting is going to reveal in a series of western red cedar planks, and this one unveiled incredible rolling waves across its entire width. This light doesn’t do it justice, so we can’t wait to see it installed outdoors!

It’s a perfect day to wander around the Williamstown Fair. Exhibits, entertainment, horses, cows, rides, and FOOD!!! Well, and your favourite sign makers!!

I just today crated up this lovely for her trip to her forever farm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This 6.5ft wide, hand-painted, sand-blasted western red cedar sign features raised lettering and details, a beveled outer edge and another striking hand-painted pictorial by our wonderful Noella!

(I’ve taken to calling Jamie MacPherson “The Wisconsin Scotsman” because his lovely Scotian drawl warms the wee phone line e’r time wuh speak!)

Well I can’t tell you how pleased Noella and I were with how this one turned out for our new friends, the McNaul family, in Westport, ON.

This Madarch beauty is a 2-sided, hand-painted, sand-blasted Western red cedar sign, with raised and prismatic HDU signfoam lettering covered in spectacular 23 karat gold leaf. But the gold leaf doesn’t hold a candle to Noella’s delicious-looking hand-painted strawberries!!

Today our new friends at Wild Streak Farm in Apple Hill, ON picked up their striking, hand-painted, layered ACM signs for their new roadside produce stand at 19064 Connortown Rd.

The 3ft rooster medallion will grace the main entrance to the farm above 4 bl/WH rider signs (not pictured), while the two 4x4ft black signs will direct you to them from the main road. These black signs include flippable rider signs that have their hours of operation on one side, and ‘Closed for the Season’ on the other, for added versatility. (We provided detailed installation instructions and diagrams for Angele and Mike to get these up themselves - SHAZAM!)

We can’t wait to pay them a visit once they’re up and running!

We gave our friends at John Gordon Construction in Cornwall, ON a wee logo AND lobby upgrade, floating a new hand-painted, layered pvc sign (with prismatic lettering) off their lobby’s concrete block wall on pins we set into drilled holes in the concrete…and they loved it!!
