Opened in 2003 we have continuously provided quality Pilates instruction to help our clients live strong, graceful lives.
Taking a Pilates class doesn’t have to be loud and bright and confusing. It can be calm and gentle and personal.
I was trying to find a way to distinguish my studio from those big group Reformer Studios that are popping up all over town, and I was joking with this friend of mine that I specialize in “Pilates for Introverts”! And I cracked myself up, and my friend looked at me very seriously and said, “Yes that’s it!” So of you’re looking for a small intimate studio where you don’t have to worry about what other people are doing, saying, or thinking about you, In Perfect Balance with the studio for you!
Looking for a different kind of Pilates studio? Small, intimate, friendly? We might be for you!
Pilates Accountability Meeting
There’s lots of different ways to exercise and there’s lots of different ways to do Pilates, but nobody does what I do the way that I do it. If you are looking for something different call me, I look forward to sharing my love of Pilates with you.
Some people think Pilates is like yoga, but Pilates is its own thing. It is vigorous and strengthening and as a dancer, it really works for me. I would love to share that with you. I find the focus required to do Pilates is a meditation unto itself, and even if I wasn’t up for working out, I always feel better afterwards. Come in and join me.

Be careful about watching too many videos of perfectly executed Pilates exercises. It doesn’t start out that way. I’ve been doing this for a long time and I still try and take correction gracefully. I know it will make me a better teacher and practitioner of an exercise that feels good in my body. Ready to start your Pilates practice? Give me a call at (661) 729-8585
It’s a beautiful day in the Antelope Valley. The sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, and it’s not too hot, yet. I had a break between clients so I took the opportunity to work out a little bit. This “twisted swan“ variation used to be a favorite of mine. I always felt so strong and powerful and beautiful doing it. Today, not so much. I must admit it’s been a long time since I’ve done this exercise and I certainly haven’t had anybody watch me do it. But that’s what’s special about Pilates, I know I can go back to one of my amazing teachers and have them watch me and I know that their cues will help me get to where I want to go. None of us are doing it on our own. It helps to have someone guide us and cue us to be our best selves and move in our most efficient ways.
I have been working on meditation with the Headspace app for several years now. Today they did a live meditation and I took these breaths with over 600 people from all over the world. When things feel chaotic and loud, I am learning, that I can pause and take a breath. What do you do to quiet the noise?
