This client used to have a waxy white leather chair in this corner of her home, which unfortunately got deeply stained and could not be resurrected. We replaced it with a new chair and new material… vegan nubuk leather. It has a soft hand like real nubuk leather, but is exceptionally hard wearing because it’s actually polyester. Perfect for a seat sat in several times daily. We then upholstered the outback of the chair in this gorgeous Schumacher basketweave epingle to coordinate with the rest of the room.

A glimpse from yesterday’s install 🤍 This was a fun project as we started with a blank slate, and fully designed and furnished the first floor of this Hershey home. It was an absolute pleasure to help this family determine how to best utilize their open spaces and make their home a reflection of their tastes, preferences and personalities… of course with the added CECILIA flair 🌟

Where land meets sea 🧜‍♀️ Channeled my inner Gray Malin to capture this beauty. And as a side note if someone would have told this young LBI go-er that there is oceanic water of this color, and indeed it is ~warm~ I would not have believed you. Such a special place that we were so fortunate to visit.

Next layer- accessories 💎 In open-concept homes like this, delineation is everything. Thoughtfully placed furnishings create subtle boundaries, allowing each space to feel correct functionally and aesthetically. These custom swivel chairs strike that balance- grounding the room while maintaining a sense of ease and fluidity between the family room and open kitchen.
