Our Blueprints Specialty Programs team continues to bring outreach directly into the community — meeting people where they are and working alongside partners to connect people with resources, education, and support.
We’re so proud of their perseverance and commitment to making sure access doesn’t stop when circumstances change.
July was a month of impact, connection, perseverance & significant change. 💙
In the middle of the month, the way our Specialty Programs team showed up in the community changed. After transitioning out of the Lancaster City drop-in center, our team continued bringing the work directly to where people are — out in the community, on foot, and alongside our community partners.
And the work continued! 🔥🙏🏽
In July, our team had:
297 participant encounters
11 peer support engagements
87 people connected with case management services
78|51 behavioral health screenings & connections
Each number represents an opportunity to connect with someone, understand what they need, and help them take the next step.
But numbers can’t show everything. 🧐
They don’t show the conversations happening on sidewalks, the time spent helping someone navigate a resource, the connections made through a community partner, or the moments when someone simply needed another person to show up and walk alongside them.
That’s the heart of this work. We’re proud of a team that continues to meet people where they are — and of the community partnerships that help make that possible.
The way we show up may change. The commitment to showing up doesn’t.

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose and honor those whose lives have been impacted by addiction. 💙
We also hold onto hope—and Steve's story is a powerful reminder of why.
After years of addiction, homelessness, and believing there was no hope for his future, Steve found a path forward after connecting with Blueprints Specialty Programs. Today, he is celebrating two years of sobriety in Lancaster.
Recovery can change the story. There is hope for what comes next.

The 5th Annual Barry Snodgrass Benefit Ride will arrive at the tournament site, bringing dozens of motorcycles together in a powerful moment of remembrance, community, and support. It's truly something special to see — and an incredible way to begin the day.

On August 22, Blueprints will host our 13th Annual Recovery Volleyball Tournament at Fairview Park in Columbia.
For 13 years, this event has brought people together to honor loved ones lost to overdose, support families, and create a space for connection, remembrance, and hope.
This year, funds raised will support seven Pennsylvania children who have lost a parent, or both parents, to overdose loss.
We're grateful to everyone who has played, volunteered, donated, sponsored, cheered from the sidelines, and helped carry this tradition forward year after year. 💜
