Our 90's Pop Music Trivia event might be fun for you if you can answer the following question:

Which group released the songs "Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls" and "Unpretty?"

If you don't know the answer, you may need to stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to.

This program is intended for patrons 12 and up. We'll meet from
3 pm-5 pm on Wednesday, September 30th.

We have an event built for teens happening this Wednesday @3:00! Stop by our YA Room after school to have a meet & greet with author Ona Gritz. She'll be on hand to read excerpts from her new book called "The Shape of Wings."

Also, our September T.L.C. Signup Spree is still going on. If you don't have a library card yet come in and sign up. Once you do, your name will be entered into a contest to win some cool prizes. The grand prize for this contest is a VR Smartphone Headset.

The Lansdowne History Forum returns on September 24! The first meeting will be a week later than normal and you can join us online or in-person at the library. All following History Forums will be on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Miss Rachel from The Delaware County Health Department stopped by Steps into Nature last night to talk about mosquito and tick prevention. We also put together Buckets of Doom, which are a DIY tool used in mosquito prevention.

Steps into Nature is a STEAM-based program for children ages 5-12. Our next meeting is on September 23 at 4:00 pm. The topic and snack for that session will be Chocolate!

We had so much fun with Miss Deleila from The Milton Hershey School!

We heard a story about Mr. Hershey and his chocolate, colored some fun pages, took pictures with chocolate brown top hats and received some goodies.

Our Children's Department literacy focus continues this Friday at 4:00 pm with the first meeting of The Literacy League.

Star Trek first aired in the US on September 8th, 1966. Happy 60th Birthday, Star Trek! Did you know we have a Trek Club? We watch episodes from the different Star Trek series and then discuss them. Die-hard fans and newcomers alike are welcome!
