✨ Kids Handbuilding: To-Go Cups (Ages 6+)
Young artists will learn the basics of handbuilding while creating their own ceramic to-go cup. No experience is needed, and parents of children ages 6–13 are invited to stay and create alongside them.

✨ Coil Building: Large-Scale Sculpture (5-Week Course)
Perfect for adults and young adults who want to build their skills over time. This immersive course explores traditional coil-building techniques, surface design, glazing, and underglazes as students develop a sculptural piece from concept to completion. The class wraps up with a peer critique and professional photos of your finished work.

✨ Sgraffito Ceramic Tile Workshop
Designed to be welcoming for all ages and abilities, this class is especially great for kids, seniors, families, and anyone looking for an accessible introduction to ceramics. This class will be held in the MakerSpace Classroom instead of the ceramic studio so that no stairs are necessary. Learn the beautiful sgraffito technique by carving through colored slip to reveal the clay beneath and create your own decorative ceramic tile.

No matter where you are on your creative journey, there's a place for you in our studio. Come learn something new, meet fellow makers, and spend your summer creating with us.

We got to spend time talking about something a lot of artists don’t get taught: how to position your work so people actually understand it, connect with it, and hire you for it. Because making the work is only part of it.
