This is the week! Positive Somebody is honored to have been chosen as the benefiting nonprofit for the Capital Area Chapter Credit Union’s annual golf outing. The proceeds will support our mental wellness programs, helping us reach more children and families and strengthen families and communities.

September is Su***de Prevention month and we are so proud of all of all of the community events bringing awareness and support! Like SHOW UP SHOW OUT ‘s event today at Frances Park in Lansing. We are stronger together!

Another great fall festival at Post Oak Academy encouraging positive coping skills and healthy sleep habits. So many children were excited to decorate journals and sleep masks.

Spooky Level ($100): Includes prominent online recognition and one complimentary general event ticket.

Haunted Level ($500): Includes online recognition, your logo on the event banner, your organization’s promotional materials featured inside our guest grab bags, a dedicated mention in our official media release, and 4 complimentary general event tickets.
House of Horror Level ($1,000): Includes online recognition, event banner placement, grab bag features, a media release spotlight, 8 complimentary event tickets, and an exclusive all-venue event spotlight throughout the night..

We are very grateful to receive an Uplift Our Youth grant. We thank our Board Member, Mrs. Nash, for accepting the award on our organization's behalf.

This grant will help fund our emotional regulation series, The Weather Within, for shared pregnancy at multiple locations.

Join us Thursday, September 17th from 5:15-6:30PM at our South Lansing office for the first evening session of the "Weather Within" program. Positive Somebody will be introducing this series and teaching us how to recognize emotions, so we can help our children recognize their complex emotions. We will have giveaway items and lots of fun making little crafts during class time. Check out the event and select 'Going' to RSVP. We hope to see you there!

The "Weather Within" program is a six session series, so we will be hosting Positive Somebody for the next few evening classes, check the dates and mark your calendars! 📆

Reminder: Each topical class is worth 5 points. No need to worry about picking and choosing between weekday classes, you can join us for class Thursday evening in addition to any weekly classes and earn extra points.
