Rebel Pictures

Sad news to hear that legendary actress, and one of the last from Hollywood's Golden Age, Eva Marie Saint has passed away.

She was 102.

Just her performances in On the Waterfront and North By Northwest put her in a category all her own. She didn't act in all that many films, but the ones she did she made a lasting impression.

She will be greatly missed.

One of my favorites.

What a life lived. 💔 🎬 🔥 🎭

Remembering the legendary James Dean today. He passed away on this day in 1955. 💔 🎬

He was 24.

Dean was traveling in his new Porsche 550 Spyder, nicknamed "Little Bastard," en route to a race. He was killed on present-day route 46 near Cholame, CA, when a Ford Tudor made a left turn in front of Dean's forward path. Jimmy, who had the right of way, could not stop or maneuver away in time. Despite reports that Dean had been speeding earlier in the day, police on the scene said he was most likely going 55 mph at the time of the accident.

Jimmy’s indelible mark on the world has endured long after his passing. His work, both on screen and off, became part of the cultural fabric of our lives, inspiring generations and leaving an imprint that time cannot erase.

“If a man can bridge the gap between life and death, if he can live on after he's dead, then maybe he was a great man.” -James Dean

He's only going to post this the next few days and then lay it to rest.
