We moved! 🎉

Bellwether Public Relations cut the ribbon this afternoon on our new downtown Lansing office at 101 S. Washington Square, Suite 400 — one block from the state Capitol.

We've been a Lansing agency since 2004, starting out in a small house at Chestnut and Ottawa and spending the last eight years in the Fox47 Building. This new space finally puts all 17 of us on one floor, with a kitchen where the team can gather and a conference room built for hosting clients.

Big thanks to City of Lansing, Michigan Mayor Andy Schor and Tim Daman of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce for joining us, and to the clients, partners and neighbors who stopped by for the open house.

This past weekend, Bellwether's Randy Hannan joined the Detroit News’ Nicole Cook and Michigan Public's Colin Jackson for the Michigan Political Leadership Program's 2026 media training session at WKAR - Public Media from Michigan State University. This year’s talented MPLP fellows practiced their message delivery skills through a series of mock media interviews in Studio C, the home of Tim Skubick’s legendary Off the Record public affairs program.

Bellwether is proud to support MPLP and their mission to train and inspire current and future generations of public policy leaders in Michigan.

The summer is off to a busy start, and we’ve welcomed two new student practitioners to the Bellwether team!

Cassie and Meredith are already diving into client work and making an impact. We’re thrilled to have them on board to help us leave the world a little better than we found it.

We’re excited to share that Bridgette Bauer has been promoted to director of public affairs! Since joining Bellwether, Bridgette has become a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex public policy issues through thoughtful and effective communications strategies.
