September 26th Recovery Month Spotlight: Meet Alina, Pinnacle’s CEO and Co/Owner. Our fearless leader. She spent September recognizing her staff as part of recovery month but of course she wouldn’t want the spotlight on herself, so I am doing it for her.

Alina has made it her life mission to help people. She works harder than anyone just to figure out ways to make her program better so clients have a better chance at recovery. Even though she’s the CEO, her office door is always wide open, allowing any client that needs help from her to feel comfortable coming to her. She drops what she’s doing anytime a client or staff member has a concern and figures out a way to fix the issue, or offer advice and encouragement.

Alina does a lot of behind the scenes stuff that most people don’t notice but are nonetheless critical to Pinnacle functioning. Mountains of paperwork, countless emails, zoom calls, and meetings. I could go on for hours about everything she does for Pinnacle.

To really appreciate the impact she makes you have to understand just how good of a person she is, though. Alina put money down to start a clothing brand at Pinnacle that has been beneficial for clients and staff. It helped create an identity and a way for us to represent Pinnacle while also providing recovery-based clothing for people in the community. She wouldn’t boast about this, but every dollar that has come back from those sales has been used to host all of the community events Pinnacle put on this year, to help our clients have FUN in recovery.

That’s just one example of the person she is. She doesn’t see clients as dollar signs, she sees them as vulnerable people that need help, and she goes out of her way to do everything possible to make their lives better. Alina has helped an army of recovering people that are now doing positive things in the community. As a staff, we are so lucky to have her as our boss and have the opportunity to learn from her.

We took a field trip down to the Capital to support the Opioid Overdose Awareness Event put on by the City of Lansing and MDHHS. So grateful to be able to be a part of such an important cause. Thank you to the people who made this event possible! We appreciate your efforts to show support for all those we have lost to addiction. 💜💜

Wow!! What an absolutely incredible event hosted by Lifeboat Recovery Services. We are so grateful to have been invited and given an award for our staff and program! THANK YOU seems like an understatement for the accolades. We appreciate the awards given to both Eddie and Boogie as well for their hard work and commitment to others in the community. But, the best part is the recognition for the unity and strength that we build as a community, working together to save lives and help each other. You all are amazing and we couldn’t do what we do without the strong connections, collaboration and support we have for each other! Thanks again Lifeboat and all your team!! ❤️❤️

September 21- we all need a reminder. Day 1- Any beginning is a new start to change your life, make the best one! And to those with days, months, years, decades- we always have a choice every day, to continue to keep going, remembering Day 1- now reaching back to support those who are struggling. This is a great reminder- to remain motivated, focused, positive. Keep going….. Have a great week 💜
