Michigan has taken another step to protect insurance consumers.

A new Michigan law formally prohibits insurance companies from using “price optimization”, varying a customer’s premium based on how much the insurer believes that individual may be willing to pay.

Rathbun Insurance was proud to sponsor LifeBoat Recovery’s annual Recovery Recognition Night, and our President, Laura Stoken, was honored to attend this inspiring evening celebrating the Peer Recovery Coaches and community organizations bringing hope, healing, and support to our neighbors.

LifeBoat has also been an important partner in Rathbun’s journey to becoming a Michigan Recovery Friendly Workplace - RFW, providing guidance and training as we worked to implement this meaningful initiative within our agency.
