Last week, we supported the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce's Inter-City Visit, welcoming leaders from Durham and North Carolina's Research Triangle to Grand Rapids to explore the partnerships, investments and ideas shaping thriving communities. The visit focused on topics including economic development, placemaking, transportation, education, housing and healthcare innovation.

Throughout the week, our team members participated in meaningful conversations with community, business, and government leaders. Highlights included Brian Crissman's participation in a panel discussion exploring the history, impact and future of Grand Rapids' Medical Mile as a model for economic development and placemaking.

During a Christman-hosted gathering at The Arts Marketplace At Studio Park, attendees heard from J.D. Loeks about the vision behind Studio Park and the role placemaking can play in creating vibrant, connected downtowns.

We were also pleased to support our partners at The Rapid by attending discussions focused on transportation and the critical role mobility plays in connecting people to opportunity. The visit included conversations about transportation investment and its impact on community growth and development.

The week was a reminder that transformational projects are built through partnership, and that strong communities grow when leaders come together to share ideas, challenges and opportunities.

The Corewell Outpatient Campus demonstrates how thoughtful planning and construction can bring a wide range of healthcare services together under one roof.

This 3.5-story, 127,379-SF specialty center includes hospital-based and independent physician services spanning orthopedics, cardiology, dermatology, allergy and asthma, podiatry, pain management, chemotherapy and infusion. This facility also features an emergency department complete with imaging, blood lab, and an outpatient surgery center, retail pharmacy and shared spaces designed to support collaboration among providers.

One of the most iconic features of the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit is getting the care it deserves.

The basilica's historic rose window has been carefully removed and transported off-site, where the skilled artisans of Swiatek Studios are restoring each element with meticulous attention to the craftsmanship and artistry of the original work.

The rose window is just one component of the broader restoration effort underway at Ste. Anne. We're honored to serve alongside The Catholic Initiative, the Archdiocese of Detroit, HopkinsBurns, Resendes Design Group and a talented team of preservation experts on this once-in-a-generation project.

✂️ A milestone years in the making.

We were proud to join the University of Michigan, project partners and the campus community to celebrate the grand opening of Wolverine Village, one of the largest residence hall communities ever built at U-M. Designed to welcome thousands of students, this transformative development features modern residential spaces, an all-electric dining facility, geo-exchange heating and cooling, green roofs and on-site solar energy systems that support the university's sustainability goals.

We’re grateful to have worked alongside RAMSA Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Integrated Design Solutions, Elkus Manfredi Architects and American Campus Communities and the hundreds of trade professionals, project partners and team members whose dedication and craftsmanship helped bring this vision to life.

Today, Wolverine Village is already creating connections, fostering community and providing a new home for the next generation of Wolverines. 💙💛
