Soldiers & Families,

Preparing for a deployment is about more than packing bags and completing a checklist—it’s about making sure you and your family feel informed, prepared, and supported for the months ahead.

Join Family Programs for our Pre-Deployment Coffee Chat Series beginning Wednesday, September 23. Every other Wednesday. Two times available:11:00 AM or 7:00 PM.

These informal Coffee Chats are designed for Soldiers, spouses, parents, significant others, and other loved ones who want to better understand what to expect before and during deployment.

Throughout the series, we’ll talk about topics including:

• What to expect as deployment approaches

• Preparing your family emotionally and practically

• Communication expectations during deployment

• Financial, legal, and emergency preparedness

• Resources and benefits available to Soldiers and families

• Supporting children, spouses, parents, and other loved ones

• Managing stress, changes in routines, and separation

• How Family Programs stays connected and provides support throughout the deployment

Most importantly, bring your questions. These Coffee Chats are an opportunity to talk openly, get answers, connect with resources, and learn from one another.

Whether this is your first deployment or your fifth, every deployment brings different circumstances. Taking time now to prepare can make a significant difference for both the Soldier and the family.

☕ Grab your coffee and join us!
