Our Reading Circle was a wonderful way to spend time together this past Monday! Huge thank you to Sara Grochowski for leading our Story Time Circle and sharing some great stories with us. And thank you to everyone who joined us, we loved having you there! 💗

ANC is now hiring Spring 2027 Fellows!

We have opportunities available with our Hunter Park GardenHouse, Communications Program, Food Pantry, Outreach Office, and Youth Programs.

Fellows who qualify for work study at MSU will earn $13.73 an hour, while those who do not qualify for work study will earn a $650 stipend. All Fellows are expected to work 15 hours a week.

Mark your calendars for Get Cooked #10!

On October 10th, join players from around Mid-Michigan in our Greatroom in the Get Cooked! Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. Register for the event to compete in singles and doubles, and top placements take home prizes or stay and play with new friends with extra enrollment in Amateur Bracket after elimination. Donations will support ANC’s community event partnerships and doors open at 10:00 am and close at 11:00 pm.

It wouldn't be ANC without food! We’ve got some amazing food lined up from our incubator kitchen. Fifth String Food Truck and Brewitt Cafe & Bakery will both be there serving some delicious food all day. 😍

Wow, our Block Party was truly something special. We could not ask for a better neighborhood than what we have here on the Eastside. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us with good food, games, balloon animals, face painting, and more!

Last week we celebrated all things apple 🍎 Whether at the Apple Festival, or our very own Take Root Garden Club, which had an Apple Day last Tuesday!

As the Take Root season kicks off, kiddos were able to learn all about apples, enjoy coloring, and connect with each other. If you are interested in an after-school programming opportunity, sign up for Take Root through Lansing Parks and Recreation!

The Allen Farmers Market Apple Festival was an absolute blast last week 🍎 We enjoyed many apple-themed treats, drinks, and live DJS for the whole evening!

We are happy to announce that Veggie Box has officially transitioned from our Summer Season to our Fall Season!🍁

As summer has come to an end, we want to thank all of our wonderful members for supporting local food producers and being part of our amazing Eastside community. Choosing to put your food dollars into the local economy is a powerful way to use your voice without saying a word. Your support makes a positive difference 💗

That's what makes us so excited for Fall Veggie Box! We get to continue to support our local food system, and still enjoy the summer produce (while also enjoying fall produce at the same time!)

As a reminder, keep an eye out for Spring Veggie Box registration, as spots fill up quick! You wont want to miss out on fresh, local veggies 😍
