After 179 years of sitting at 1214 Center st., the Kilbourne-Mead 1847 house has been moved from its original foundation.

The house will continue to shift to the north and sit for a few weeks until it is move to its new location at 1314 Center st.

The move date will be September 30th and take 3 hours to move down the street one block. The time will be announced shortly for those wishing to watch its move.

🚧 RFP - calling construction services companies! 🚧

Michigan Community Capital, on behalf of InvestPortHuron, LLC (Owner), invites qualified construction managers to submit proposals to provide pre-construction and construction management services for The Residences at 256, a new mixed-income residential development planned for Port Huron!

The Residences at 256 will consist of twelve (12) owner-occupied condominium homes constructed as six duplex buildings. Each home will contain approximately 1,645 square feet with three bedrooms, two and one-half bathrooms, an attached one-car garage, private entrance, patio, and associated site improvements.

The development is designed to expand attainable homeownership opportunities for households earning up to 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) while supporting neighborhood revitalization within the city of Port Huron. The project is currently in the Design Development phase. Learn more in the attached document.
