Capturing Michigan’s Stories!
Thank you to everyone who joined the Library of Michigan and Michigan Oral History Association at Peter White Public Library last week for our oral history workshop! It was a great day of learning and conversation as participants explored how to plan oral history projects, conduct meaningful interviews, and preserve the stories collected in their communities.
From local history to community memories, oral history gives libraries a way to help ensure that Michigan’s stories are heard, preserved, and accessible for generations to come. A big thank you to our partners at the Michigan Oral History Association and to Peter White Public Library for helping make this workshop possible!
📸 Check out some photos from the workshop!
