A medida que nuestro distrito continúa invirtiendo en la creación de espacios de aprendizaje modernos y acogedores, resulta alentador ver a los miembros de la comunidad compartir sus opiniones sobre el futuro de nuestras bibliotecas escolares.
Las bibliotecas son mucho más que simples estanterías; son lugares donde los estudiantes desarrollan habilidades de alfabetización, realizan investigaciones, exploran nuevos intereses y reciben apoyo de profesionales capacitados que fomentan el amor por el aprendizaje.

Join the Lansing Human Relations Commission for a community Juneteenth Celebration THIS Friday, June 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Fox Pointe!

This free community event will feature music from a live DJ, a Kids Corner, community resource vendors, and food vendors offering items available for purchase. Attendees will also receive a free hot dog, chips, and drink while supplies last.

For the past 10 years, the Sunnybrook PTA has proudly supported our teachers, staff, students, and families. Our mission has always been to educate, share facts, and encourage family involvement in our school community.
Whether you've volunteered at our Book Fairs, helped with Secret Santa, attended PTA events, or taken the time to participate in School Board meetings, your support has made a difference. Strong schools are built when families, educators, and the community work together.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are grateful for everyone who has contributed to our success over the last decade. We are excited to continue growing, serving, and advocating for our students in the 2026–2027 school year.

Durante los últimos 10 años, la PTA de Sunnybrook ha apoyado con orgullo a nuestros maestros, personal, estudiantes y familias. Nuestra misión siempre ha sido educar, compartir información y fomentar la participación de las familias en nuestra comunidad escolar.
Ya sea que haya sido voluntario en nuestras ferias del libro, ayudado con la actividad de "Secret Santa" (Amigo Invisible), asistido a eventos de la PTA o dedicado tiempo a participar en las reuniones de la Junta Escolar, su apoyo ha marcado la diferencia. Las escuelas sólidas se construyen cuando las familias, los educadores y la comunidad trabajan juntos.
